Daniel Kent was Derek’s son.
Five years old.
Older than Noah.
Older than the twins.
The Walsh trust litigation exploded.

He argued that Rachel’s settlement permanently waived any claim to family trust benefits.
Naomi disagreed.

She argued the trust should recognize only children born within marriage.
Naomi opened the document.
It said biological child.

The judge froze Walsh Child Administration entirely.

The Miami lender accelerated the loan.

Claire stared.
“She hid Rachel’s claim because she wanted me to produce a child inside the marriage.”
“Why?”
Derek looked at the twins’ trust documents.
“Because Grandpa’s trust has a second clause.”
Naomi frowned.
“What clause?”
Derek turned the page.
