The first major hearing involved temporary occupancy.
Caleb wanted access to Rosewood Lane residence pending divorce.
Marissa opposed.
His attorney argued marital residence.
Her attorney argued trust ownership and misconduct connected directly to fabricated occupancy rights.
The judge listened carefully.
No screaming.
No dramatic victory.
Then the security footage played.
Caleb and Vanessa signing documents on the patio.
Kissing afterward.
Then Marissa arriving.
The scissors.
The shredded clothing.
The alarm.
Caleb’s attorney emphasized Marissa’s behavior.
The judge frowned.
Not good.
Then Maya played the earlier section again.
Caleb pointing at the trust-amendment header.
Vanessa signing.
Caleb photographing the pages.
Then the forensic report showing Marissa’s copied signature.
The judge’s expression changed.
She asked Caleb directly:
“Did your wife authorize this amendment?”
He said:
“Not formally.”
“Did she authorize use of her signature?”
“No.”
“Then why was it attached?”
Caleb looked at his lawyer.
Too late.
The judge denied his request for interim residence.
Not because he cheated.
Because the evidence showed he had attempted to manufacture expanded rights over trust property without Marissa’s verified approval.
