She benefited when investments performed.
Graham never held unilateral withdrawal authority.
Disclosures existed.
The portfolio remained largely intact.
Medical vulnerability did not automatically erase capacity.
True.
Then Caroline argued Graham believed he was helping.
Also partly true.
After Nora’s injury, household finances were chaotic.
Taxes.
Insurance.
Property.
Investment reporting.
Graham did take over real work.
Then Caroline addressed the text:
She won’t remember the argument.
Ugly.
Not proof of planned exploitation.
Delete this.
Worse.
Still ambiguous.
Then current stair incident.
Julian’s shove created independent criminal exposure.
Graham’s request:
Say you fell.
Possible obstruction or witness tampering issues depending on context and jurisdiction.
Much more direct.
Nora listened to the defense and felt strangely calm.
She did not need Graham to be a comic-book mastermind.
The truth was enough.
He loved her.
Then discovered that her cognitive uncertainty gave him more power.
And he used it.
