Rachel subpoenaed communications as part of the civil discovery tied to the assault and Davies investigation.
Victor had received the photo from a freelance event photographer.
He did not stumble across it.
He requested it.

Then Victor selected one image.
Ava and Nathan standing close because a crowd was moving behind them.
No kiss.
No embrace.
No secret.
Victor cropped out two other conference attendees.
Then sent the cropped image to Liam.
That was deliberate.
Next came location information.
Victor had access to Liam’s executive travel-assistance system.
Ava’s shared family calendar was synced through Liam’s account.
Victor searched:
Boston,
Nathan,
Northstar Foundation.
Then he began feeding Liam fragments.
Never a direct lie.
Just questions.
“You know him?”
“She still talks to him?”
“You sure?”
Ava read the messages.
“He engineered suspicion.”
Rachel nodded.
“Looks that way.”
But why risk something so personal?
Because Ava’s compliance review had become more threatening than she knew.
Three weeks before Boston, she sent Liam a memo.
Not formal.
Spousal advice.
Five bullets.

If Ames Biomedical is related-party controlled, disclosure should be cleaner before acquisition diligence.
