Derek arrived.

Teresa arrived.
They claimed it was a family discussion.

Clara called Alex’s dead phone.
7:31.
Again.
7:36.
Again.
7:39.
Derek called Clara from inside the house.
Why?
He said he had gone downstairs and wanted her to come talk.

Clara called Rachel Sloan.
No answer.

Clara called Alex again.
Then calls stopped.
Why?
Teresa took the phone.

Home audio assistant captured a partial command from the upstairs hall:
“Call emergency—”
Command canceled.
By whom?
Unknown.
7:53.
Lily’s bedroom door opened.
7:55.
Movement on upstairs hallway sensor.

911 called from Derek’s phone.
Clara was unconscious.
Paramedics arrived at 8:06.
No pulse.
Resuscitation continued thirty-one minutes.
Death pronounced.
No obvious trauma.
No blood.
No scene suggesting violent assault.
Then Lily said something new.
“Uncle Derek wouldn’t let Mommy leave.”
