Chapter 9 - THE EMERGENCY SIGNATURE PROTOCOL

Why forge Marcus at all?
Because the family trust had an emergency protocol.
For time-sensitive transactions, a transfer could proceed if:
primary beneficiary authorization,
trustee certification,
and legacy family-office verification
were all present.
The family seal was not legally enough by itself.
But combined with trustee certification and internal account instructions, it could fool operational staff long enough for money to move.
Not permanently disappear.
Move.
That was the goal.
Fast transfer.
Then recharacterization.
If challenged later, Diana planned to call it:
“a previously authorized restructuring.”
