The phrase “high-value authenticity event” came from Carter Table’s own internal reporting system.
Olivia stared at Jonah.
“Who built that?”
He said:
“Not me.”
Vanessa closed her eyes.
Olivia looked at her.
“Who?”
Their analytics consultant, Maven House.
Maven helped creators identify moments that increased:

watch time,
rewatches,
shares,
clip creation.
The system did not understand humiliation.
It understood attention.
Carter Table’s internal dashboard had been configured to flag sudden retention increases and allow producers to annotate why they happened.

Vanessa.
Olivia’s voice went quiet.
“You labeled my collapse.”
Vanessa shook her head.

“That makes it better?”
“No.”

“You knew why.”
Vanessa snapped:

The anger surprised both of them.

Olivia stared.

She stared.
Vanessa said:
“We didn’t create those moments.”
“You named them.”
“We measure everything.”
“No. You measured me.”
Jonah stepped in.
“Both of you approved the analytics program.”
Olivia looked at him.
“Did I approve these labels?”
“No.”
“Did I approve body-based tagging?”
He hesitated.
“The tags were free-text.”
Meaning someone chose the words.
Then Olivia found a deck from six months earlier.
