food,
transport,
supervision,
housing contribution,
miscellaneous child expenses.
Margaret had searched:
GRANDPARENT GUARDIAN MONTHLY EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT.
Then:
TRUST REIMBURSEMENT CHILD LIVING COST.
Then created a spreadsheet.
Projected:
$2,800 food/household.
$1,600 housing allocation.
$900 transportation.
$1,200 tutoring.
$600 activities.
Total:
$7,100 monthly.
$85,200 annually.
From Sophie’s trust, if approved.
Again:
approval not automatic.
But Margaret had modeled it.
Then another spreadsheet.
PRIVATE SCHOOL OPTION.
Tuition:
$28,000 annually.
School:
St. Agnes Preparatory.
Board member:
Eleanor Price’s husband.
Margaret had social plans around Sophie’s money.
Not just greed.
Status.
She wanted to become:
guardian of a wealthy granddaughter,
private-school grandmother,
host,
decision-maker.
Rachel understood something painful.
