The red bow became more than proof Daisy was alive.
Susan’s footage showed Linda carefully removing it before returning to the house.
Why?
Because the ribbon was identifiable.
If Daisy appeared at the fence while board members arrived, the lie would collapse.
Linda had thought ahead.
Claire presented the footage to the sanctuary board.
No theatrics.
Just sequence.
Daisy arrives safely.
Bow removed.
Dinner begins.
False claim made.
Claire provoked.
Then the text:
LINDA:
If she storms out, let her.
The board did not need to decide whether Linda hated ducks.

They needed to decide whether Ryan was suitable as alternate steward.
That question changed quickly.
