Chapter 2 - FIGHT BACK

The bell rang.

Emily lifted one glove.

“Jason, stop.”

Jason charged.

Fast combination.

Emily blocked.

Left.

Right.

Body shot against elbows.

The crowd roared.

Jason grinned.

“Fight back!”

Emily backed toward the ropes.

She did not throw.

Another combination.

Gloves slammed against her guard.

Robert jumped up.

“KEEP GOING!”

Emily looked toward him.

Her father’s face was bright with excitement.

Not concern.

Linda stood beside him.

“That’s my boy!”

Emily’s chest tightened.

Jason drove her toward the corner.

He was not trying to injure her badly.

But he was hitting far harder than an exhibition required.

Emily whispered:

“Jason.”

He smirked.

“What?”

“You knew?”

He threw again.

That answered enough.

Emily blocked.

Moved sideways.

The arena loved it.

Former champion humiliated by younger brother.

Family drama.

Viral content.

Then Jason said quietly:

“Dad said you’d fold.”

Emily stared.

Something went cold.

Jason swung.

Emily slipped.

For the first time, she did not retreat.

One clean punch.

Straight.

Controlled.

Perfect.

Jason staggered backward.

The arena went silent.

Emily stepped forward.

“ENOUGH.”

Robert froze.

Linda froze.

Jason stared.

Then the bell rang even though no round time had expired.

A promoter rushed toward the apron.

May you like

Not because the fight was over.

Because Emily had just broken the script.
