Ben Keller recovered part of the surveillance archive.
The deletion had removed index files, not all data blocks.
Fragmented video remained on the storage drive.
Forensic recovery took days.
Then:
footage.
Wide angle.
Emma crawls beside empty bench.
Tyler approaches.
Looks toward Jason.
Then deliberately extends his foot.
Pushes Emma sideways.
She falls.
Cries.
Rachel turns.
Runs over.
Tyler says something.
Audio did not record.
But body language clear.
Then Rachel grabs dumbbell.
Daniel catches her wrist.
No throw.
The public narrative shifted immediately after police released stills through appropriate channels.
Not completely.
Some people still said:
“She almost threw it.”
True.
Others said:
“He kicked a baby.”
Also true.
Then another recovered fragment.
Before the incident, Tyler stood near the front desk talking on the phone.
Lip-reading expert? Avoid overreliance. No audio. But there was synced lobby mic from reception.
Tyler said:
“Yeah, she’s here.”
Pause.
“With the kid.”
Then:
“I’ll get something.”
Who was on phone?
Records:
Melissa Mason.
His mother.
That looked terrible.
Melissa said they were discussing lunch plans.
Then Tyler’s next line:
“Tell Uncle Martin he better owe me.”
Melissa claimed joke.
Possible.
Then investigators recovered text sent two minutes later:
MAKE IT LOOK UNSAFE.
