Margaret tried to turn the meeting.
She said Emily was motivated by personal revenge after the dog incident.
True emotionally.
Not necessarily financially.
Then a homeowner asked to see the dog video.
Emily hesitated.
Her attorney nodded.
The clip played.
Margaret approaching.
Buddy standing.
The kick.
No ambiguity about aggression.
The room changed.
Margaret folded her arms.
“It was a dog.”
A woman in the back said:
“That’s not the point.”
Margaret looked furious.
Then another neighbor asked:
“If you hid your husband’s consulting payments, what else didn’t you tell us?”
That was the moment Margaret lost the room.
