Chapter 12 - THE SIGNATURE SOURCE

Forensic document analysis traced Marcus’s contract signature.
Source:
a PDF from Leo’s baptism venue.
Marcus had signed a photography consent form six months earlier.
The signature image on the Maison Petit contract matched at pixel level.
Copied.
But who copied it?
The file was created on Victoria’s laptop.
Her attorney argued assistants used that laptop.
True.
Then metadata showed:
document opened,
signature pasted,
exported
during a 22-minute period when Victoria’s phone and smartwatch both showed her inside her private dressing room.
Strong.
Not absolute.
Then an email to Connor Hale:
VICTORIA:
Done. Marcus technically signed photography rights already. I just moved the consent where it belongs.
Connor:
That sounds sketchy.
Victoria:
It’s my child too.
There.
Intent.
She did not think of herself as forging.
She thought she was reallocating permission.
That mindset became central.
Rights existed.
Therefore she believed she could move them wherever her status justified.
Same with Leo.

Same with staff.
Same with Marcus.
