Chapter 6 - THE AGENCY COMPLAINT

Elena worked through Sterling Domestic Staffing.
Elite household agency.
One complaint could end a career.
Victoria filed one.
The morning after the hallway assault.
Before Elena even spoke to the agency.
Complaint:
unsafe physical handling,
refusal to release child to parent,
invasion of privacy,
unauthorized document photography,
emotional overattachment,
possible exploitation of confidential family information.
Sterling suspended Elena pending review.
Marcus was furious.
Elena was devastated.
“I can’t work.”
“You’re staying here,” Marcus said.
“That’s not the point.”
He stopped.
She continued:
“My name is my work.”
That landed.
Marcus could write checks.
Hire lawyers.
Keep her employed privately.
But Elena had spent eleven years building a professional reputation.
Victoria attacked the thing Elena owned herself.
Then Sterling requested:
references,
security footage,
medical incident reports,
household logs.
Victoria had prepared all of them.
Rachel said:
“She expected this fight.”
Marcus asked:
“Before she kicked Elena?”
“Yes.”

Meaning the kick was not the beginning.
It was the moment Victoria’s strategy became physical.
