Victoria believed the hallway camera had no usable footage.
She was almost right.
The mansion’s security system had privacy zones around family bedrooms and nursery doors.
Hallway footage existed but archived locally.
Victoria had administrator access.
She had deleted the hour.
Then Marcus revealed something she did not know.
After a previous burglary scare, his security chief installed a separate motion-alert mirror.
Not full-time surveillance.
Short encrypted clips pushed to Marcus’s private phone when movement occurred in certain hallways during hours when he was away.
That was what Marcus had seen.
Victoria kicking Elena.
Grabbing carrier.
Shoving her.
Clear.
No ambiguity.
Rachel preserved the file.
Victoria’s lawyer, Allison Price, attacked its legality.
Was Victoria informed?
Was audio recorded?
Did state wiretap rules apply?
The clip had no audio.
Only video in a common household hallway.
Likely admissible for several purposes.
Then Allison pivoted.
Even if Victoria assaulted Elena, she argued, that did not prove:
contract forgery,
brand fraud,
or nanny defamation.
Correct.
Different allegations needed different evidence.
