Claire did not decide to sell because of the lock.
Not yet.
Two weeks later, Grace found something worse.
A UCC and county-record search showed Tyler had submitted a commercial loan application listing the house as:
FAMILY-OWNED COLLATERAL SUPPORT PROPERTY.
Not a mortgage.
Not a completed lien.
But part of a lender package.
The application claimed:
Richard Morgan — beneficial owner.
Evelyn Morgan — beneficial owner.
Tyler Morgan — expected successor interest.
Claire’s name appeared only in an attachment.
Title holder.
Grace stared.
“They’re describing you like a nominee.”
Claire felt cold.
The lender had not yet closed anything.
