Trust records revealed three rental properties sold below market value to an LLC called Night Sky Holdings.
The company’s beneficial owner was Carol Wells.
A legally incapacitated woman with no known family now owned assets once belonging to Claire.
Diane explained that Carol’s settlement fund purchased the properties as investments. The trust received independent appraisals.
The appraiser was Thomas Walker’s former partner.
Naomi Price, a forensic accountant hired by Rebecca, found rent continued flowing into a management company controlled by Diane. Carol held title; Diane retained income and control.
If Carol was Claire, the transfers moved Claire’s own property out of Eli’s trust and back into an identity Diane controlled.
If Carol was not Claire, Diane still appeared to have exploited a vulnerable ward.
Either answer was damaging.
The court ordered an independent guardian for Carol and directed Diane to disclose her location.
Diane claimed Carol wandered away three days earlier.
No missing-person report had been filed.
Mrs. Calder’s camera showed a dark-coated woman leaving Diane’s porch before dawn the same day. Her face was hidden by a hood. Diane followed carrying a suitcase.
A second clip showed Hannah’s car arriving thirty minutes later.
Hannah denied entering the house. License-plate data placed her car there for forty-six minutes.
